Essentia comes from Latin and means' essence '. The Essentia series is a modular LC with simple functions, easy operation, affordable price, and compact size, aimed at the Chinese basic end market that pursues high cost-effectiveness. Its basic design inherits the highly acclaimed Prominence series and transplants its "essential" products. To meet the requirements of GMP regulations in industries such as pharmaceuticals and food, GMP/GLP corresponding functions such as user authentication and audit tracking, QA/QC calculation, system applicability calculation, and action based on their judgment results have been added. In addition, IQ/OQ can also be applied to software that is compatible with LabSolutions LC.

Adhering to the excellent performance of Prominence LC-20AT, LC-16 has improved its recognized high-precision structure to enhance the accuracy and precision of liquid delivery, making it a new era liquid delivery pump that can be analyzed with long-term peace of mind.

SPD-16 UV Visible Dual Wavelength Detector

SPD-16 continues the highly acclaimed Prominence SPD-20A design and is a highly sensitive UV visible dual wavelength detector. High sensitivity and wide linear range are excellent performance inherited from Prominence SPD-20A, and further pursue low noise to achieve high sensitivity beyond the level. Using optional mobile phase circulation valves can save mobile phase, not only reducing analysis costs, but also benefiting environmental protection.

SIL-16 automatic sampler

The excellent basic design of the Shimadzu Prominence SIL-20A, which has been widely praised for its continued performance and durability, is a cost-effective automatic sampler that combines reliability and high performance. Excellent quantitative reproducibility is achieved through the mature and experienced full dose injection method, while minimizing the impact of cross contamination. The ultra high speed injection action with a minimum injection speed of less than 10 seconds has greatly improved the analysis efficiency. It also comes with pre-processing procedures such as dilution and addition, which can be widely used for various purposes.

CTO-16 Liquid Storage Box Integrated Column Temperature Box

The CTO-16 unit integrates a column temperature box and a liquid storage box, and can be equipped with a manual sampler, making it simple and compact. The column temperature box can accommodate one chromatography column up to 25cm in length. It uses a heating module and insulation cover to accurately adjust the column temperature and maintain the stability of analysis. The liquid storage box can hold up to 3 1L bottles or up to 5 500mL bottles.

Using the newly designed Chinese interface operation panel, it is possible to operate LC-16 liquid delivery pumps (2 units), SPD-16 detector, SIL-16 automatic sampler, and CTO-16 column temperature box without reconnecting wiring.

Overview of LabSolutions Essentia

The LabSolutions Essentia Chinese Workstation is developed to correspond to the new product LC-16 series, and is a workstation that integrates instrument control, data acquisition, and data re analysis. Based on LabSolutions, GUI functionality is used to reduce operational errors for analysts through intuitive operations, ensuring the reliability of analyzed data. In addition to the user management function and supervision tracking (audit tracking) function required by GLP/GMP regulations, the function of using QA/QC and system stability calculation result threshold parameters to control actions can also be used to automatically judge calibration curves, perform stability tests, set analysis pauses or stops based on sample analysis results, and re inject samples, achieving intelligent analysis.

2. LabSolutions Direct~Smartphone/Tablet Remote Control Software

If using LabSolutions Essentia's LabSolutions Direct software, instrument status display and control can be achieved on convenient user interfaces such as smartphones and tablets. By using LabSolutions Direct, it is possible to confirm and control the system status from a location outside the laboratory using a smartphone or tablet, without having to go specifically in front of the instrument. It can also manage multiple systems simultaneously, making laboratory analysis work more convenient.
